Holiday pre-order: This gift box is available now as a pre-order and ships between November 25 and December 1, 2026, in plenty of time for the holidays. We take your payment today to reserve your box. If anything changes, we will email you with a revised date.

Pre-orders close October 10, 2026, and we would encourage you to order well before then. We fill every box by hand with items from small Canadian makers, and our makers can only produce so much.

The Calm Canadian is for the quiet end of the day. Where our Cozy Canuck is all frosty mornings and coming in from the cold, this one is the evening after: lamps low, socks on, nowhere to be. Every piece is chosen to slow the room down.

What's inside

  • A pair of fuzzy socks, the kind that make getting up off the couch feel like a bad idea
  • A seasonally scented candle, for the moment the day is officially over
  • A spiced tea blend, cinnamon-warm and gently sweet, best with both hands around the mug
  • A simmer pot blend, so the whole house smells like the season with almost no effort
  • A set of two leather coasters, a small, lasting piece that stays long after the treats are gone
  • A sweet treat from a small-batch maker, to go alongside the tea

Every item is uniquely Canadian. Contents are seasonal and produced in small batches, so if something is unavailable, we will substitute an item of equal or greater value.

A card with every gift

Every box ships with a printed card, carrying a seasonal greeting and space for who it's to and who it's from.

Ordering 25 or more? We will print your own message and your company logo on the cards, at no additional charge.

Shipping & pickup

  • Free local pickup in Ottawa. Choose Pickup at checkout, and we will email you when your order is ready.
  • Local delivery within Ottawa. Available to most Ottawa addresses; the fee will show at checkout once you enter your address.
  • $20 flat rate shipping on a single box, anywhere else in Canada via Canada Post. Adding more than one box to the same address? Shipping is calculated by total weight, and the exact cost will show at checkout.

Sending more than one gift?

Our checkout ships one order to one address, so gifts going to different recipients need to be ordered separately.

If you are sending several gifts, or more than one gift to the same address, email us at info@penelopegrace.ca with your recipient list, and we will set the order up for you with the best possible shipping cost.

Ordering for your team or clients?

For 25 or more gifts, custom logo-printed cards, or deliveries to multiple recipients, request a bulk or corporate order.

Box Tokens

Each of our gift basket come with a box token made out of Baltic Birch. At Checkout in the notes section, simply let us know what the gift is for and we will create an appropriate token for your special occasion.

Greeting card

Nothing makes a gift more personal than a message written by you! Let us know what you would like written on the greeting card in the note section at Check-out.

We enjoy supporting local and Canadian artisans and take pride in our dedication to providing high-quality products in our gift offerings. However, please note that certain items may occasionally become unavailable with limited notice. In such cases, we reserve the right to substitute the unavailable item with another of equal or greater value in the corresponding class. Rest assured, we ensure the replacement item meets our exceptionally high standards and maintains the same aesthetic appeal as the original.
